Yingqi holds a Masters of Architecture degree and a certificate in Real Estate Development from the University of Michigan, after completing her Bachelor of Architecture in Beijing.  Yingqi worked with international firms, such as AECOM and Atkins, on large scale commercial, retail and hospitality projects, and contributed to research and exhibitions at the University of Michigan, gaining experience from concept studies to detailed design and visualization.

Exploring with urban change, memory and space, Yingqi sees design as a mediator between transformation and permanence, and aims to create adaptable frameworks that honor history and embrace the speed of change.
